Emeril has his “Essence”, but long before I had heard of him I was doing my own notch kicking with the following spice blend:
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon coarse ground black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
